# Controlling: who carries what, which portal brought the deals, what a lead cost

**The problem this solves:** Which portal brought the deals, how fast each broker reacts, what a lead cost — the answer is a spreadsheet nobody updates.

**In short:** The commission report shows each broker's enquiries, how quickly they react,
their viewings and their deals in a period; it says which portal or channel brought the
closings and what one deal from each source cost. Every sales board has a pipeline report
with stalled deals a click away.

## What you can do

- **See who carries what** — per broker, per period, as a table and as a spreadsheet.
- **See where deals come from** and what a deal from each channel cost, using the channel
  costs you enter in the enquiry settings.
- **Read the pipeline** — the „to next stage“ figure explained the way it is counted.

## How it works

The reports read the same records the team works in — enquiries, viewings, deals, invoices —
so a figure on a report is a figure you can click through to.

## Limits and notes

- Alpha: built on request. The pet [Luma](https://docs.capitality.io/pets/) is planned to read the market from here.
- What a workspace pays is shown to its admins and owner only.

## New in this feature

- App 0.41.0: See which portal brought your deals: the commission report now says where the period's closings came from and what one deal from each source cost.
- Platform 0.26.0: The commission report can now tell which channel brought the deals won in a period.
- App 0.25.0: Enquiry settings and the cost per enquiry in statistics show a colleague's changes right away.
- Platform 0.15.0: Changes to enquiry settings and channel costs show up on everyone's open settings and statistics pages at once.
