# Handover protocol: recorded at the door, signed on the spot, filed with the property

> Record the Wohnungsübergabeprotokoll on your phone, photograph meters and defects by room, have both parties sign at the door, and file it with the property.

**Status:** Alpha — Built on request. The app says so where you use it and asks what is missing.
**On the broker’s path:** Closing & handover

**The problem this solves:** The handover is written on paper at the door, the meter photo is on someone’s phone, and the dispute comes six months later.

**In short:** At the handover you record the protocol on your phone or tablet: rooms,
meters, the scratch on the worktop as a photo tagged with its room. Both parties sign on
the spot, the protocol is saved with the property, and the photos are printed in it.

## What you can do

- **Record at the door.** Rooms, meter readings, keys, defects — as a form on the phone.
- **Photograph and tag.** Each photo gets its room and is printed in the protocol.
- **Sign on the spot.** Both parties sign on the device; the protocol is saved with the
  property.
- **Walk through with your voice.** A walkthrough shows your words as you speak and files
photos by the room you name; voice notes turn into text when you finish.

## How it works

Walkthrough recordings are written down the way your firm chooses, kept for the term your
firm sets, and erased when it is over — at once when an owner asks. Faces, number plates and
family photos stay unrecognisable wherever a picture is shown outside your firm.

## Limits and notes

- Alpha: built on request. The app says so where you use it and asks what is missing.

## Frequently asked questions

### Can I record a handover protocol on my phone?

Yes. Record rooms, meter readings, keys and defects as a form on your phone or tablet,
photograph each defect with its room, and have both parties sign on the device at the door.

### Where is the signed protocol kept?

With the property, with its photos printed in it.

### Can I dictate the walkthrough?

Yes. A walkthrough shows your words as you speak and files photos by the room you name;
voice notes become text when you finish. Your firm sets how long recordings are kept, and
they are erased at once when an owner asks.

### Is the handover protocol ready for daily use?

It is Alpha: built on request. The app says so where you use it and asks what is missing.
