# Notifications: the one that matters reaches you, the rest folds away

> Notices that name the deal, contact or listing they concern, a busy listing's enquiries folded into one, and a paused portal connection one tap from the fix.

**Status:** Available — In every workspace, documented here, with its changes listed on its page.
**On the broker’s path:** Platform

**The problem this solves:** Either every change pings everyone, or the one that mattered — the yes after the viewing — is missed.

**In short:** A notice names what it is about — the deal, the contact, the listing — and
opens it. A busy listing's new enquiries arrive as one notice, „12 neue Anfragen zu …“, that
opens exactly those. A paused portal connection or an ad that did not go out appears one tap
from the fix. Settings lead with deals, comments and enquiries and say exactly what they send.

## What you can do

- **Hear of what matters:** a mention, a yes after a viewing, a booked or cancelled viewing,
a new colleague ready for a role, a payment that did not go through.
- **Fold the noise.** Many enquiries on one listing become one notice; a broker limited to
their own records hears nothing about colleagues' records.
- **Act from the notice.** A deleted contact can be brought back from the notice right after
deleting; the „Import finished“ notice opens what you imported.
- **Choose channels.** In-app, e-mail and push, per kind.

## How it works

Notices come from the records' history, so they can always open the record they are about.
A colleague who joins does not inherit older notices.

## Limits and notes

- Mails to buyers and owners — viewing confirmations, reminders, owner reports — are not
notifications; they go in the name of the colleague in charge, see
  [Your own mailbox](https://docs.capitality.io/integrations/mailbox/).
