# Objects & units: one record per property, every fact with its source

> One record per property: units, owner, who is responsible, where each fact came from and how sure it is, the map, and what is missing before it goes to market.

**Status:** Available — In every workspace, documented here, with its changes listed on its page.
**On the broker’s path:** Objects & marketing

**The problem this solves:** Object facts are spread over exposés, portals and heads; nobody knows where a number came from or whether it is still true.

**In short:** An object is one record: address and map position, its units, the owner among
your contacts, the colleague responsible, photos and documents, the energy certificate and
every other fact — each showing where it came from and how sure it is. The page says what is
still missing before the object can go to market, and what is waiting for review.

## What you can do

- **Keep facts with their origin.** Every key fact shows where it came from — typed, imported,
read from a document, proposed by a pet — and how sure it is, right beside the value.
- **Model buildings.** Units with number and floor under one object; the flats of one
building go to the portals as separate ads.
- **Know who is responsible.** Each object shows its colleague; a handover is noted in the
  history.
- **See the stock at a glance.** The objects list shows how many objects stand in each stage,
for how long, and which have been on the market longest.
- **Start from a mail.** Forward an exposé, floor plan or photos to your firm's object
address and they arrive as a new object with its files and a proposal to check.
- **Price with context.** A new object starts from the range your own comparable objects
  suggest, not a blank field.
- **Keep the keys' whereabouts** and how to get in, shown with every viewing and never to
  visitors.
- **Work in bulk.** Archive, restore or delete several objects at once.

## How it works

Facts carry provenance: when an import, a document or a pet proposes a value, it is a
proposal until you confirm it; an unsure figure can go to the owner in one tap for them to
confirm or correct on their page. The map keeps its filters; the catalogue of object types,
conditions and occupancy reads in your language, also for imported objects.

## Limits and notes

- Deleting an object takes its listings and its files with it; a unit still in
use explains why it cannot go yet.
- Commission figures can be kept to the owner with one switch, so brokers see only what they
  may.
