# Portal enquiries by e-mail: forward once, every lead arrives as a record

**The problem this solves:** Every portal sends enquiries as e-mail in its own layout; someone copies name, phone and object into the CRM by hand.

**In short:** Your workspace has an enquiry address. Forward the portals' enquiry mails to it
— once, as a rule in your mailbox — and every enquiry arrives in „Anfragen“ as a record with
the person, the object and the message, marked with its source. Your firm's object address
does the same for exposés, floor plans and photos: forward them and a new object arrives
with its files and a proposal to check.

## What you can do

- **Receive from every portal** that sends enquiries by e-mail, without an API contract.
- **Keep the sender's words.** The message stays as written; the person, phone number,
  e-mail and object are read out for the record.
- **Start objects from mail.** Forward an exposé or photos to the object address.

## How it works

The enquiry address says whether mail to it can arrive yet — the app holds it back until
receiving is set up. Capitality reads the person, the object and the message from each
portal's mail; an enquiry that names none of your listings suggests the ones it fits.

## New in this feature

- App 0.40.2: Marketing e-mails can be switched on only once your e-mail address is confirmed; until then the switch says so.
- Platform 0.25.3: The enquiry address says whether mail to it can arrive yet, so the app can hold it back until receiving is set up.
- Platform 0.25.3: A marketing opt-in is kept only once the e-mail address behind it is confirmed.
- App 0.33.16: Sign-up now confirms your e-mail address, and the app reminds you gently until it is done.
- App 0.27.0: A new object can start from a forwarded e-mail, arriving with its files and a proposal ready to check.
