# Guide: the pet that answers "where do I …" inside the app

**The problem this solves:** Nobody reads the manual. Somebody has to answer "where do I …" in the first week, in your language, inside the app.

**In short:** The Guide is in every workspace, hired by nobody and paid by nobody. It greets
you once, answers „where do I …“ and „how does …“ in your language with steps that name the
buttons on screen, and knows how people really ask in German.

## What it does

- **Answers product questions** — navigation, what a page is for, how to do a thing — in
  German, English or Russian.
- **Leads the start.** Quick start, empty pages and the first steps of a new workspace are
  the Guide's territory.
- **Stays out of your data.** The Guide explains the product; it does not read your records
  or act on them.

## Under whose approval

The Guide takes no action on records, so it needs no approval; it points, you click.

## Status

Available in every workspace. The other pets — Scout and Doks — are hired per workspace
and add their role on top of the Guide's base skills.
